The Sierra Vista Habitat for Humanity Site has moved!

Sierra Vista Habitat for Humanity will be raffling off a 6’x6’ child’s playhouse, with the winning ticket to be drawn by Miss Sierra Vista, Anna Chinnen. There will be a Kid ID kit available from Farmers Insurance, Lowes Kids Clinic, representatives from the Sierra Vista Police Department, Fry Fire Department, Cochise County Sheriffs Office, the Border Patrol, the Leukemia Society, entertainment by DJ Wasi and the Cochise Chordsmen Barbershop Chorus, vendors from the Sierra Vista community to include Leather and Lace Pet Boarding, and the Sensitive Touch.

Habitat for Humanity© Sierra Vista Area, Inc. is a locally run affiliate of Habitat for Humanity International, a nonprofit, ecumenical Christian housing organization. Habitat for Humanity works in partnership with people in need to build decent, affordable housing. The houses then are sold to those in need at no profit and with no interest charged.

Volunteers provide most of the labor, and individual and corporate donors provide money and materials to build Habitat houses. Partner families invest hundreds of hours of their own labor - sweat equity - into building their homes and the homes of others. Their mortgage payments go into a revolving Fund for Humanity that is used to build more houses.
